[Ocean Soul] The text is just so you can see how it will look with text - I only chose Arial there because it's neutral and doesn't take away any of the mood ;) The green is because it is a very relaxing and very natural color, and this seems to match the business.

[DarkJenni] - Just a little something along the lines of a place holder, I can think of some things as I go, its kinda plain now. I'm also not so sure on how to resize these things on Photoshop or Illustrator since thats what I had used.

Medium quality JPG exported from InDesign. I was fiddling with tritone and duotone. The original InDesign file only contains three pantone colours.

2006-11-02 [DarkJenni]: O.o this looks like fun, I'm good with differant stuff like this. But the text on mine you can't get rid of it so I think I'll make them just blank [Elisha Kelly] I've read some of yours.

2006-11-14 [Aradeyl]: If the design breaks the border of the card, do you want a bleed and die cut guides?
Sorry if I confuse with my weird speak, a bleed is a continuation of the image for 1/8 inch past the card area and die cut lines are little lines that show where to cut straight to get the precise card size. The bleed makes sure if you oops by a little bit there's no awkward white at the edge.

2006-11-27 [Just.Kate]: Aradeyl: As a seasoned card designer, I would say yes. Even a printer that has handled numerous comissions in the past can oppsie a little. I would, however, submit your entry based on how the card SHOULD look, and adjust accordingly if your design is picked. :)

2006-11-27 [Sunrose]: Just for the record, the remedies aren't oil so it isn't 'oil therapy'.
Also, the intention of this contest is to get your design, not to get stock images: I can do that myself :/

2006-11-27 [Just.Kate]: =/ Alright. I just thought it might do nicely in case none of the others work out. I'll see what I can do about a designed artistical one. I will continue to offer technical advise though, one of which is to require a 600 DPI image from the winner.

2006-12-20 [Kaimee]: Trying to come up with something that matches californian flower remedies, massage, and energetic therapy is rather tricky.
Swirly smoke and flowers is as close as I'm getting, and I am now so sick of vectorised brushes that you wouldn't believe it ;)
